Seit 2022 begehen wir den Tag des Hutes mit einem besonderen Programm als Hommage an den Hutmacher Carl Gottlob Wilke, der mit seiner Erfindung des wetterfesten Wollfilzhutes Guben als Hutmacherstadt berühmt und bekannt gemacht hat. In 2024 steht nicht nur das Thema Hut im Mittelpunkt, sondern auch Bekleidung und Schuhe. Alte Handwerke, wie der Hutmacher, der Schneider und auch der Schuster präsentieren sich und zeigen, wie heute deren Bekleidung hergestellt wird. Am Verkaufsstand kann diese auch käuflich erworben werden.
Zusätzlich gibt es für Kinder wieder ein Kreativangebot, für die Erwachsenen eine Modenschau. Für die Verköstigung ist ebenfalls reichhaltig gesorgt.

In 2024 steht nicht nur das Thema Hut im Mittelpunkt, sondern auch Bekleidung und Schuhe.
